Mao's "Little Red Book" in 1964 was the 1st "red" prequel and in 2003 "The Court of the Red Tsar," a history of "Uncle Joe" Stalin's reign of terror, was the 2d "red" prequel to the red book Biden previewed last week, "The Book of Crypto-Totalitarians." (My favorite of myriad oxymorons and ironic quotations from Biden's red book is his often-stated, "I give you my word as a Biden.")
Biden's rollout of repression was staged with fitting theatrics of bellicosity- clenched fists, facial sneer, near-to-shouting of gross lies, ugly distortions and wild exaggerations, all banked in blood red lights and flanked by armed military.
During WW II and the Korean War, neither FDR nor Truman addressed the nation, targeted his numerous domestic political opponents as threats to national security, and incited the public to retaliate against them. Neither before nor after the firing on Fort Sumter did Lincoln do such a thing. He never spoke harshly of his domestic opponents, even after they waged an armed rebellion. Lincoln's First Inaugural, on the brink of civil war, and his Second Inaugural, deep into civil war, were statements of affection for all Americans and national reconciliation.
Biden's was the exact opposite. Biden's was a battle cry for his half of the country to go to war against Trump's half. He's baiting you. Don't take the bait. They're losing, and they know it. Biden's speech is another clear indication of their desperation.
And Biden says Trump's speech on January 6 was a call for insurrection!

I kept waiting for Biden to ask us to "search our feelings."
Unfortunately there are only 100 or 200 million of us normals to oppose this potted and perverse regime, and not 10,000 million as she would have it.
