I'm hoping that the phrase "military tribunal" explodes in law journals.

Those terms will be around until academia decides or is (more likely) forced to drop them from disciplines. Throw “racism” in your dissertation and there’s your Ph.D. (Piled higher and deeper as it were).

I'm a woman and I hate all the woke shit as much as any man. I'm vilified for my constant refrain of "nobody died nobody got hurt, it was a staged event" by quite a lot of men who are emotionally invested in deaths reported by the media.

I won't argue with statistics, I'm just sayin' I'm a woman and I am as detached as any man examining events reported breathlessly around the world designed to push our buttons. And so is Miri AF. https://miri.substack.com/p/the-whole-of-the-moon

Thank you. As a woman, I understand, and "emphasize" with the use of words like effeminization. But it's a struggle not to take it personally.

Now comes the lag time that always happens as the GOP catches up with the Marxist turd Dems' established goals. They are basically the same. just GOP lags a decade or two before jumping on the bandwagon.

An interesting area that I've wanted explored for a long time is the impact of females in traditional male spaces. Quite apart from modernist assumptions that we are all just tabla rasa, a traditionalist approach would be to assume, if men and women had their own exclusive spaces in every known culture, it was probably for a good reason. As a non-scientist, my thesis to be tested would be that if you ignore this inherited wisdom and allow women by force into all male spaces, men become dysfunctional and can't do what they are good at in law, politics, science, art and war. Effectively, all spaces become female spaces with female strengths and weaknesses, and among those weaknesses would be in analytical reasoning and in principled based decision making and a tendency to seek concensus, by force if necessary, on every decision.

My PhD advisor said to me, 40+ years ago, "Goddammit, Bob, words have to *mean* something!" That has stuck with me ever since. He's probably spinning in his grave.

Very good. So much of this stuff is fad-like. In my experience in Montreal Canada I knew some 'progressive' women who were promoting 'empathy' (not realizing, of course, that it is a double edged sword) and writing books and get plaudits for their 'ground-breaking' work. In my observation 'empathy' has jumped the shark (maybe last year) and is now on the downslope.

Of all the girl boss phrases I hate the most it has to "lived experience." That said, many of these phrases took off in popularity during the Obama Administration. He said he was going to transform America. What he did is set the tone to transform AWFLs into quivering puddles of anxiety, fear and hate. I don't want to belittle the AWFLs, I want them back.

Now you’re making me want to go on a skull-Zamboni-ing rampage, sir

Don’t forget the uptalky multiple question marks at the end of the phrase: “lived ex-PERIENCE???”

Maybe putting a hefty tax on squishy social sciences would be helpful.

Curiously, empathy is what narcissists lack.

I’ll often refer to and reread this article because it points to something that is so true yet can be so hidden, or should I say “was” so true.

Men are stepping up, especially young men stepping up in this last election -has changed the trajectory of Girlbossery, Wokeness, Cancel Culture and Safetyism.

Empathy is often useful, but when you have it in excess, as I have for much of my life, it can be crippling, and, wait for it...disempowering.
