This disturbs me. As I watch the society lose its collective mind over science-based lies (you can change your sex! a critical ingredient to life on the planet will bake us all!) you're telling me there's almost no way to fight for truth? I worry about my grandchildren's world.

It disturbs me too. I am past the point I can laugh it off as absurd. It is more serious than this.

Damn right! They are fining people, and throwing them in jail for thought crimes. This shit is only funny, when there's no teeth behind it. But there is now, and many people don't understand that.

Just look at that new Canadian hate crime legislation. It has gone way beyond funny, and very quickly.

They're trying to push people to the point of breaking with this. At least that's what I believe, because I don't think that even the people perpetuating this nonsense "really" believe in what they are doing.

I think they are hoping that someone will crack and start defending their freedom physically, then they'll use that as the pretext to their next thought crime legislation. They want to criminalize discussion -- because they have to, if they're going to achieve their lofty leftist goals, where they have total control. Because nobody really agrees with this nonsense. Nobody wants this.

I'm not sure this is the case. I would argue this is the end game for the woke people.

Their world view is based on fantasy. Most of Canada's legislation is aimed at people discussing reality. And reality always wins. Men are not in fact women etc.

These are signs of desperation.

Most of the woke people seem to be followers, or useful idiots.

The people backing them are the ones with the lofty leftist goals.

I only say that because for someone to really buy into the woke narrative, to the point of taking action to defend it, not just going along with it, requires that they have some sort of mental deficiency.

It seems most of the people going along with it, just do so because they want to go against the grain, not because they "really" believe in it.

They aren't "died in the wool, believers," they're just pissed and see woke as a way of getting back at everything and everyone who represents "now."

But I could be wrong, and there could be a relatively large percentage of the population that is truly incapable of realizing that they're being manipulated, and that woke anything is purely destructive.

I hope that's not the case. And judging by the pushback that "woke" has received, I don't think that is the case. 😉👉

...

I forgot to mention earlier, woke in general is *not* just men in women's sports, trans (I was born in the wrong body) type stuff

Woke is really the entire victim oppressor narrative Woke is intersectionality. That's why I don't think it will go away any time soon. It is an entire industry now. But I think that was the point.

There is much less a woke "movement" as there is a woke push to get it into the corporate income sphere permanently. Once it becomes a source of income for people, they WILL fight to protect it, because it's how they pay the bills, not because they ever did, or do now believe in it.

Look at all the people who work for the IRS. You know that they don't think they are doing "what's right." I don't think that IRS workers wake up and pledge allegiance to the IRS. But they do get paid. 😉👉

I hope that makes more sense.

I see no way out of this mess that doesn't first involve a cataclysmic event and subsequent reordering of society.

This is true. People are willing to chop off their children's genitals in service of an ideology they learned from incoherent slogans they were told to believe by their phone. These people are far further along the denial path than I ever thought possible a few years ago - so imagine the seismic events that will be required to shake them from their Stepford Wives-like slumber. It isn't going to be pretty.

The monolithic PC-Progressive belief system brooks no dissent.

You are either with them 100%, or you are against them, a dissenter.

Dissenters are identified, tracked, and purged from the system whenever possible.

Speaking up, arguing, reasoning, debating, logical thinking, critical thinking are all crimes against PC-Prog orthodoxy. Commit one and prepare to be purged. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but when it is possible, you will be.

Briggs ==> Sorry abut the attribution case....what a total mess our society has made of the science/politics/law interface.

I got myself kicked out of a community based (Cornell University) climate education group for insisting on using NASA/NOAA's latest data....they didn't like it 'cause it wasn't alarming. Said I was "disruptive" by pointing out the data.

Were you perchance attempting to introduce "facts" into the discussion? "Facts" are, by definition, raaaaaacist! And have absolutely no relevance to climate.

No wonder you were considered disruptive!

Andy ==> The latest NOAA/NASA data didn't agree with the wildly alarmist versions being used to [mis]train "Climate Stewards". They had their "official" version, approved by climate crisis advocate Cornell "scientists", which simply were not to be contradicted with real science.

Nice. More "content creators" need to provide real substantive analyses as you have linked to in this post. I'm reading your The Climate Blame Game report and it's so professionally produced, written and sourced. I think there is a real risk that the Red Pilled world descends into mythology due to so many people creatin BS content. So thanks for the substance.

It seems like every field, every facet of life is like this. I need to write a post about it. The beast is consuming everything of our lives, because it's starving and about to DIE it seems. Desperate, as always at the end of Empire.

The problem is that it doesn't seem to know that, if you leave no release valves, the explosion will always come, and always be deadly.

Now that half of Texas' cattle ranches and feed lots have gone up in flames, JBS should be able to claim their CO2 footprint is significantly lower.

Truly incredible. The claims of climatology are ,it seems, now undisputed axioms.
