“Wee P value” is the moniker that should be attached to any “woke” beta male who shows up at climate change rallies.

One time at work I expressed actual sadness at the number of actual birds killed by actual wind turbines right now. I thought I was on safe ground because I was talking to a "hippie mom" type of woman who was a social worker and "loved and nurtured" all things. I was very surprised when she responded, like I was a complete idiot and also The Devil, "If we don't stop climate change there won't be ANY birds or animals at all!!"

Allrighty then..... won't mention that again. Let's kill all the animals, birds, whales, etc., and cut all the trees (biofuel!) RIGHT NOW in a futile attempt to stop (can't be stopped) the "climate" from changing (is it "changing" in a bad way?) because of course the climate would change (if it's changing) into a Venusian hell hole in which no eagle could ever fly again. In about zillion years. maybe. COZ models. lol

This is an excellent effort to show that lacking Climate Knowledge is related to Climate Anxiety.

However, the most important variable (and it's surely what causes most Climate Anxiety) is Exposure to Climate Doom Porn (or Climate Doom Pornographers).

Americans are constantly bombarded with doomsday "climate" messaging--in the media, at school, in movies, at work, everywhere they turn.

Surely that's the most important variable in someone developing Climate Anxiety.

The constant doom-laden soundtrack is enough to make anyone anxious.

The solution to a case of Climate Anxiety is to turn off the soundtrack of doom.

How scary would Jaws be without the dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum-dum music? How scary is any horror movie with the soundtrack muted?

Mute the Climate Doom sound track, and Climate Anxiety disappears.

Is there a study of the correlation between Exposure to Climate Doom messaging and Climate Anxiety? There should be.

About 13,000 years ago (less than an eyeblink in geological terms) there was an approximately 3,000 foot thick sheet of ice covering the ground where my house currently sits. I'm pretty happy that the climate changed since then and I'm fairly certain that SUV's had nothing to do with it.

There are all kind of articles/school lesson plans online concerning the glacial history of the Pacific Northwest. The really funny part is that most of this stuff is produced by the same people who are busily lecturing us about how we need to combat climate change. The hypocrisy continues to be absolutely stunning.

For further reading, get on the google and look for "Glacial Lake Missoula". Interesting stuff!

Humans can adapt easily to the changes in climate now occurring, we can even design systems that will moderate the climate. For instance, in place of bare soil needed by agribusiness, that most times overly warms from direct sunlight, plant trees to shade the soil and the life it holds. A smart design can be formulated with food crop trees growing more food as its vertical versus horizontal! Simple remedy for those suffering anxiety from studying those suffering climate anxiety!
