It would be interesting to see the percentage of patriotic Americans secretly cheering for America to meet the same fate as Napoleon's France and Hitler's Germany after they gave bear-wrestling a try. I bet it's a really high number.

GAE has indeed become the Great Satan that the Ayatollah warned about a few decades ago. Child sacrifice through abortion, mutiliation of confused children, promotion of degeneracy, assaults on truth and reality. You name the perversion; the GAE stands in its support.

Will anyone mourn America's demise?

Islam has its own guilt over mutilation. FGM.

Yes, that's definitely one of Islam's many issues...

The patriotic Americans I know are as opposed to the GAE leadership as the tangible national enemies.

It truly is a case of degenerate foreign elites ruling over a defeated people. Some are getting this now. Who knows if it's too late to save anything.

Sarge! I’ve been reading about Dugin too! The books by the young Canadian philosopher Michael Millerman. Millerman was thrown out of his university for paying attention to Dugin.

What I like about Dugin is his proclamation that not just Nazism and Communism, but also Liberalism has failed. Seems true.

Keep fighting.

Auron MacIntyre hosted Millerman for a Dugin series on his podcast. It was great.

Yup, I listened to it.

It could well be that the advanced age of the Globalists is lending a panicked urgency to their recent Gadarene rush to world tyranny, and when they are gone, their mindless flunkeys will have neither the vision nor the skill to realize their evil plans. Realizing this, they could well start WWIII out of motives of pure spite.

Dear Mr Briggs, I would like to know more about the realists-nominalists fight.

Just a quick note about this : "The weakening of the Church led to nation states"

Seems to me like a cliche of modern Historiography (which is, btw, full conspirationnist, and no one seems to worry about...).

Recently, I read a lot of books wrote by 16th and 17th century historians. All (French) have no doubt to live in France, which have a state and which is containing the Gallo-Frank people.

I imagine that was the same for Portugal, England, Russia, China, Persia, etc.

I smell the mephitic scent of marxism, behind this "XIXth century=nation state" trope.

(Not that you are a Marxist, of course, but each of us has been more or less bathed in this propaganda)

Odd that a cheerleader for Orthodoxy can't see the role that Scholasticism played in the Great Schism. The insane over-confidence of Anselm, Aquinas, the Lombard and co., are shown clearly in the ridiculous Nominalism vs. Realism debate. The question of whether Universals have an objective existence does not actually have anything to do with whether or not there is objective truth. It is really the mere invasion of Platonism, of the God of Philosophy, into Christianity. Scholasticism didn't simply exacerbate the problem between East and West and force the Great Schism as horrible as that was, it was the western nursery of the cult of expertise, it killed Catholicism and brought Romanism in its place, within a century it had driven the sensible Old Catholics into the absurdity of Transubstantiation and as the saying goes, 'He who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.'(see for example the usurpation of the popular election of bishops, the seizing of the Imperial power, forced celibacy of the clergy(which despite being previously recommended at times had never been rigidly enforced), various pogroms as against Hussites and Lutherans and the stifling of any free thought.

In short, the expert class created in the Thomistic universities propped up and justified the death of any Roman Christianity through the pornocracy, the Machiavellian papacy of the Borgias, the travesty of the Avignon papacy. It was this expert class which prevented the popular desire for Reformation at Paris and Constance, refused to accept the much needed(commonly acknowledged by the entire curia in the previous century to be needed) Lutheran reforms at Worms and Speier and eventually declared itself 'Irreformable' at Trent. So we see that the church of Rome is twice schismatic, first from the Old Catholic Orthodoxy and then when we were graciously given a new outpouring of the Gospel, schismatic from the Reformers and more significantly the Gospel itself. I trust that in 2023 America it is unnecessary to point out the inevitable result of an irreformable and unaccountable expert class which can't find a voice to condemn the insanity of Big GAE and has no recourse against a Marxist pope.
