Putting ‘scientific’ in front of planning will not make it work, ever. Society is just too complex. Communists/utopians are so busy getting bent out of shape about wealth and the rich and equity they miss the fundamental point about money: it conveys information. The market system, through prices, aggregates the informational that is dispersed across society about what it needs. Production responds to this information and without it you get Soviet shoe factories that only produce left shoes, because of ‘scientific’ targets. Ironically, clowns like de Vries will look at you like you have two heads if you question evolution, that is natural unplanned optimisation of organisms to the environment over time, proposing instead Intelligent Design. Then publish this nonsense of Intelligent Design for the planet.

There is a connection between humans leaving the Garden of Eden and the results as described in the Book of Revelation.

I like to grow/hunt/fish/forage and eat healthy food, everything else is, at great risk of raising your hackles, about feeding the useless eaters concentrated in cities, including these so many great planners.
