So skeptical of Official Science am I after these last 2 years, tomorrow I am going to a hilltop before dawn to ascertain for myself that the sun rises in the east.

I know these women, "moms," as they say. They are negligent about necessities but keen and certain about imaginary dangers. Their feckless husbands have learned to avoid stepping on environmental land mines and not to question the important "research" that consumes so much time. Their children early adopt know-it-all attitudes about all-things "science" and are riddled with anxiety themselves. The ridiculous of it is laughable, but the tenacity and intensity are both sad and troublesome.
