I don't really have a problem with the Woke themselves. I feel sorry for them, and I find many (all) of their positions to be delusional, contradictory, and sometimes humorous, but I find these same qualities in many people over many different subject areas. By acceding to their insistence I acknowledge and accept their delusions as valid, I must knowingly lie to myself to do so. If I openly accept that a person's skin color is what defines that persons entire life, if I accept that a persons sexual practices is of vast importance to me, if I agree that a man can turn himself into a woman, then I am lying to myself, and I know it. If I use some woman's "preferred pronouns" and refer to her as a "he" or "him", I know that I am uttering a lie and doing so violates everything I believe about my own moral code. These people have developed an ideology they try to cloak in a veneer of "tolerance" and "diversity" and "acceptance", but beneath that veneer lies the brutality and self-justification found in the worst of bullies and giving into their demands is a moral failure on my part.
My second problem with the "woke" is in their targeting of children. In my opinion, any adult who teaches any aspect of "woke" to minor children is guilty of child abuse. Any adult who actively encourages a child into the "trans-gender" ideology, be it through counseling, issuance of drugs, or actual surgery, is irredeemably evil and should be sequestered from society. I don't see any difference between a school teacher who encourages a child to be "Trans", a doctor who issues puberty blocking drugs to a child, or a doctor who removes a boys testicles, and a person like Dr. Josef Mengle or Jeffrey Dahmer. These people are predators and should be treated as such.
One could think that violence simply refers to assault and battery. Which require planification, intention, mens rea or any other expression similar to those.
But this is naturally limited to actions on tangible things. So, for example, aggressions against your body or your property (your car, your clothes, your home, your fence) are actions against tangible things. But agressions against your emotions, your opinions, your values, your honor are not acts of violence.
Why do they expand the meaning of violence to include non-violence? Because that's what dictators do: confuse everyone with impossible rules. Only in mental chaos they emerge victorious.
The irony is that I never wanted to do any violence to any of these people, until AFTER they started fragging up the language and referring to silence, indifference, and boredom, as "violence".

I disagree only as it regards the origin of woke, which is not ideological capture. The origin of woke is a pressure build of EPISTEMIC BUREAUCRACY. Higher education turns out surplus bureaucrats by the tens of millions, meanwhile technological advance threatens their livelihoods, it responds with ever more aggressive irrationality, disguised as some sort of progressive logic system, like SOCIAL JUSTICE. You get the picture.
My theory of this whole idea of both words and lack of words constituting as “violence” is that these people have (likely unknowingly) adopted a New Agey-Gnostic worldview which essentially divorces the mind from the body. The mind, is their soul, and is connected to what many New Agers believe is the One Divine Mind that connects everything in Universe. To get past being born again in a lowly physical body, one must ascend to higher levels of Consciousness in order to be better united to this Divine Mind. (This is what some New Age, Theosophy-ish types actually believe, I’m not making this no, as crazy as it sounds.) Their real Being, their Essence, is their perceived reality, their Mind, everything else is an illusion. So, real physical violence is illusionary as well and doesn’t mean anything. But words, or denying their own lived perception of “reality” in their precious Soul-Mind is an affront to their very Being, their very Essence, and therefore, as violent as one can be towards another Mind in its way to self-remembering its own divinity. And of course, since everyone is one with this ultimate Divine Mind, everyone really is God themselves, we have just simply fallen asleep and forgotten it. Accessing higher levels of consciousness helps to wake you up to the divine in you. So attacking words against this, (or a lack of affirming words towards this) is like violence to a divine being and cannot be tolerated. This is why they take words as violence and seem to have no problem with actual physical violence at all.
