50 odd years ago, I trained as a fireman.(Gave it up, being a fireman, with virtually no fires is really boring) However, part of the training is to carry a person (around 180lbs) down a turntable ladder from 90 ft to the ground. I had no problem bringing down my carry but almost refused to get on someone else's shoulders to be carried down. 90 Feet is a hell of a way to fall if the other cannot make it or loses his grip. There is no way on earth that a woman could carry me down that ladder.

Next exercise is to crawl 50 ft in a smoke filled building wearing full breathing apparatus and pulling a body on a harness around your neck and between your legs.

Yet today they insist that women can become firefighters, yes but only if the fires are really small and no one needs to be rescued.

Since 1961 the "Parabats" have held selection trials. In the last 20 years they have allowed women to try. Not a single woman has passed the physical selection process.

“How can adults possibly be this unaware of the overwhelming physical differences between men and women?”

Adults (at least those with even a small endowment of intellectual maturity) are not unaware. Mental children are capable of living all kinds of fantasy that are wholly inconsistent with reality. At least for a while, until their delusions run them into a wall.
