Briggs, I would say that “argue” is what the typical person might infer from reading historical accounts passed down by Plato. In reality, Socrates sought to “teach” in his own idiosyncratic manner (self-discovery) and suffered greatly for such. In that, I sense “correlation” between you and Socrates. ;-)
